How to Apply Your UV DTF Transfer:

 

Step 1: Clean & Prep

• Wash your cup with soapy water and dry it completely.

• Some glass cups have an oily coating—wash thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion.

 

Step 2: Position & Secure

• Align the decal on the cup.

• Press it down from the center outward, smoothing out any bubbles.

 

Step 3: Remove Backing

• Slowly peel off the backing paper to avoid stretching or tearing the decal.

 

Step 4: Smooth & Apply Pressure

• Use an application tool or your fingers to press down the decal.

 

Step 5: Final Check

• Inspect for air bubbles or wrinkles and adjust as needed for a flawless finish.

UV DTF(Stickers for glassware)1. Place UV design facing down.
2. Roll (NOT PEEL) the white backing off.
3. The design should be on the clear sticky paper.
4. Place sticky side down on your glassware.5. Lightly rub to make sure sticker has attached.
6. Peel clear film.

Aftercare: While UV DTF transfers can survive the dishwasher,hand washing is best for longevity of the sticker

What Are DTF Transfers and How Do They Work?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are full- colour designs that can be heat pressed onto various fabrics, including Cotton, Blends and Polyester. They are easy to apply - no weeding or masking required. Simply press with a heat press, and you are ready to go! DTF

What is the difference between DTF and UV DTF?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are applied to fabric using a heat press — ideal for apparel. UV DTF uses UV-cured ink and is a peel-and-stick transfer for hard surfaces like glass, metal, plastic, and wood — no heat press required.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No! We have no minimum order requirements on DTF transfers. You can order as few or as many as you need. UV DTF has a minimum charge of $15.00 per order. Custom apparel orders of 1 piece are welcome.

What file format should I submit?

We recommend a high-resolution PNG (300 DPI minimum) with a transparent background. We also accept AI, PDF, EPS, PSD, and SVG files. Anti-aliasing should be turned OFF when exporting PNG to prevent white halo effects.

How long will my DTF print last?

High-quality DTF transfers typically last 50–100+ washes when properly applied and cared for. Wash inside out in cold water and avoid high-heat dryers to extend the life of your print. UV DTF stickers are waterproof and scratch-resistant for long-term use.

What fabrics work with DTF transfers?

DTF works on virtually any fabric: 100% cotton, 100% polyester, cotton/poly blends, spandex, nylon, denim, and even leather. It works on both light and dark garments since every DTF transfer includes a white underbase.
